The TBM aircraft was born in Tarbes, France, resulting from a partnership with Texas-based Mooney Aircraft. Thirty years and more than 1,000 aircraft later, the TBM is still recognized as the world’s fastest pressurized single-engine turboprop aircraft. Launched as the TBM 700 with an engine power of 700 hp., the program grew with the TBM 850 under Daher’s ownership and reached new heights with the TBM 900-series, beginning in 2014.
